Our client is a rapidly growing Australian construction and infrastructure group operating across 13+ businesses and 1,700+ employees. As the business continues to scale through organic growth and acquisition, they are investing heavily in a major program of work focused on data unification and application integration.

This is a hands‑on senior technical leadership role, suited to someone with deep experience across enterprise data warehousing, application integration, ETL/ELT and up-to-date cloud data platforms.

The role has a clear focus: data warehousing and integration.

You will work closely with the Enterprise Applications Manager, Enterprise Architect and engineering teams to help deliver a three‑year roadmap across the group. This includes bringing data from 29- 35 applications into the enterprise data warehouse and delivering around 26 integration projects across the business.

This is not a high‑level strategy‑only role. They need someone senior enough to shape standards and guide technical direction, but hands‑on enough to work closely with engineers and help solve problems when needed.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Leading technical delivery across data warehousing and application integration.
- Helping define reusable templates, patterns and best practices with the Enterprise Architect.
- Supporting the build‑out of Microsoft Fabric as the initial platform.
- Contributing to the future transition toward Snowflake.
- Guiding integration decisions across Azure Integration Services, Workato and Microsoft Power Platform.
- Working closely with engineers across ETL/ELT, integration, APIs and data movement.




- Helping deliver measurable outcomes across priority projects within the first six months.
- Acting as a trusted technical partner to the Enterprise Applications Manager.

What We’re Looking For

- Strong application integration and middleware experience.
- Strong enterprise data warehousing experience.
- Hands‑on Azure data and integration experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, Spark or similar.
- Exposure to Snowflake highly regarded.
- Exposure to Workato or similar iPaaS tools highly regarded.
- Ability to lead engineers technically.
- Strong understanding of integration patterns, APIs, ETL/ELT and data movement.
- Comfortable working in a fast‑moving, growing business.
- Able to operate across both technical and business stakeholders.
