Role Overview
We are looking for a highly driven, mature Digital Territory Account Manager to take ownership of a high-potential, high-volume mid‑market territory. In this role, you will be the trusted advisor to our customers, turning prospects into long‑term partners by leveraging F5’s cutting‑edge direct and channel partner resources.
What You’ll Do
- Own a High‑Volume Territory: Define and execute advanced territory business plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Drive Complex Sales Cycles: Manage end‑to‑end, full‑cycle SaaS and cloud‑based subscription sales at scale, navigating multiple buying personas including DevOps, NetOps, SecOps, and CXO‑level decision‑makers.
- Build the Pipeline: Proactively prospect and assess new sales potential using F5 Business Analytics, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other advanced intelligence tools to maintain a healthy pipeline across many accounts.
- Strategic Collaboration: Partner seamlessly with channel and marketing teams to design territory‑specific demand generation strategies, events, and digital campaigns that drive solution adoption.
- Predictable Forecasting: Assume full responsibility for accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management in Salesforce (SFDC), demonstrating mastery of complex procurement processes and high‑volume deal tracking.
- Uphold Integrity: Champion F5’s Business Code of Ethics and maintain the highest standards of professional conduct as an independent contributor.
What You’ll Bring
- Education: Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent level of experience.
- Proven Track Record:
At least 5 years of proven experience in high‑tech B2B solution sales, with at least 2 years successfully managing and growing a territory or commercial market.
- High‑Volume Account Management: Demonstrated ability to independently manage, prioritize, and drive revenue across a large number of accounts simultaneously without letting opportunities slip.
- Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work cordially and productively with internal back‑end teams—including Operations, Finance, and Legal—to navigate complex procurement processes and ensure seamless deal closures.
- Cloud & SaaS Expertise: Deep experience in full‑cycle cloud‑based subscription (SaaS) and software sales.
- Technical Acumen: Sales experience with application services, multi‑cloud networking, and security solutions (Application Firewalls, API Security, Load Balancers, Bot Management, etc.) is highly preferred.
- Sales Mastery: Demonstrated success utilizing advanced sales methodologies like MEDDPICC or Challenger to close deals and manage a wide territory.
- Communication Skills: Highly persuasive written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in executive‑level presentations.

- Hybrid & Remote work options: Employees within 30 commutable miles of an F5 office are required to work from the office a minimum of 30 business days per quarter. Primarily work from a designated home location but can come into an F5 office to work or travel to an offsite location as needed.
