In this part‑time (0.8 FTE, Monday‑Thursday 8:30 am–4:30 pm, 7.6 hrs daily), max‑term (till 31 December 2027) role, you will work as part of our Education, Engagement and Attainment Initiatives team in Doomadgee to help us create lasting change for children and families everywhere.
You will make a difference by:
- Building rapport with community members and empowering them to have a voice
- Coordinating activities to bring together family's educational workplace
- Communicating any emerging issues in the community that may impact safety, wellbeing and participation
- Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date records of supports available
- Working effectively in a team and participating in training to build skills

About the Candidate
- Residing in Doomadgee
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of local culture
- Experience working with families from CALD and/or Aboriginal and Torres Strait backgrounds
- Knowledge of local community and services
- Understanding of or experience working with young people and families facing disadvantage
