More Than a Project Officer Role

Support Aboriginal community members experiencing or at risk of homelessness to find safe accommodation, return home, and maintain healthy, secure tenancies across Katherine and remote communities.

Your Impact

- Provide case management and culturally safe support to clients experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
- Coordinate safe temporary accommodation and transport for clients returning to their home communities.
- Conduct Healthy Homes audits and educate clients on healthy home practices.
- Support clients to access welfare payments, financial support, and resolve tenancy issues.
- Build strong relationships with local services, accommodation providers, and government agencies.

Letu2019s Talk About You

- Experience working with Aboriginal people in the housing or social services sector.
- Robust communication, community engagement,



and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage a diverse caseload, and travel to remote communities.
- Current or obtainable NT Driver's Licence, Working with Children Clearance, and Criminal History Check.
- Qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, or Aboriginal Health (highly valued).
