How you will make contributions that matter

We're seeking a passionate and technically minded Production Supervisor (Butter & Lactoferrin) to join our Allansford site on a full‑time basis.

Reporting to the Site Manager, you will lead daily manufacturing operations across our Butter and Lactoferrin departments, ensuring safe, efficient and high-quality production outcomes. This role is responsible for people leadership, production performance, workforce planning, continuous improvement and technical problem-solving across two specialised areas of our dairy operation. While leading a team of approximately 18 employees, you'll also become a key technical resource within the business, developing deep expertise in Butter and Lactoferrin manufacturing processes and driving operational excellence across both departments.

Responsibilities

- Lead daily manufacturing activities across the Butter and Lactoferrin production areas to meet safety, quality and production targets.
- Coach, develop and support a team of Production Operators, fostering a strong performance and safety culture.
- Manage workforce planning, rostering, attendance and employee‑related matters across two operating departments.
- Monitor plant performance,



troubleshoot operational issues and drive timely solutions to minimise downtime.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, HACCP and site quality standards while supporting audit activities.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve safety, quality, yield, efficiency and operational performance.

About you

- Experience leading teams within dairy, food manufacturing, beverage, pharmaceutical or broader FMCG environments.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and understand complex manufacturing processes.
- Proven experience driving safety, quality and production outcomes within a manufacturing operation.
- Comfortable making decisions and managing competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong communication, coaching and stakeholder management skills.
- Exposure to SAP, GMP, HACCP or regulated manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
