Take on the role of Assistant Store Manager (2IC) at Petstock Tamworth and support the Store Manager in leading a passionate team to deliver world‑class customer service. Responsibilities

- Support the Store Manager in coaching the team to achieve and develop their knowledge and skills
- Lead by example, mentoring and inspiring the team daily
- Consistently provide an exceptional customer experience
- Create a fun, supportive in‑store culture where your team loves coming to work
- Foster a safety mindset and ensure safe Work, Health & Safety practices
- Manage stock effectively, ensuring accuracy and adherence to stock integrity processes
- Assist in managing visual merchandising of stock displays, maintaining VM standards
- Keep knowledge up to date on pet care, products and services
- Recruit, onboard and induct recent team members
- Support local marketing opportunities and sponsorships

Qualifications

- Experience in a similar store leadership role
- Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Robust leadership ability to motivate and build high‑performing teams, while fostering a positive culture
- Ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities, ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Drive safe Work,
