Location: Mercy Health Albury

Position

Provide direct clinical care under the supervision of experienced health professionals. Participate in a full-time twelve-month Graduate Nurse program commencing July 2025, with rotations in inpatient and community settings.

Responsibilities

- Deliver high quality nursing care to patients in a multidisciplinary team.
- Rotate through the 30‑bed subacute inpatient service, including geriatric evaluation management, palliative care, and Transitional Aged Care Program.
- Participate in community nursing services, including general nursing care and region‑wide palliative care.
- Attend comprehensive orientation and ongoing debriefing sessions supported by the learning team and on‑site Clinical Nurse Educator.
- Work within a roster of 8‑hour day/evening shifts and 10‑hour night shifts for inpatient services; community nursing Monday‑Friday during business hours.

Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse and motivated to participate fully in the Graduate Nurse program.

Qualifications

- Recognised tertiary qualification and current full registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency.
- Demonstrated record of achievement and experience working in a health setting.
- Current Police Record Check.
- Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
