This position is responsible for providing administration assistance, associated with the management of stock and disposal of vehicles to meet or exceed our client’s and the business’s requirements by processing returned assets from arrival through to completion of sale, to the wider Disposal Team.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Coordinate transport of end‑of‑lease vehicles to designated return locations.
- Process supplier and auction invoices within 14 days.
- Ensure vehicles are entered into all systems within 24 hours of arrival.
- Process client charges, including unfair wear and tear fees.
- Manage online tender sales, including listings, bid sheets and invoicing.
- Coordinate vehicle disposals through auction houses across metro and regional locations.
- Conduct weekly stocktakes to ensure accurate vehicle inventory.
- Ensure vehicles are only released upon receipt of funds or approved credit documentation.
- Assist with debtor management and collections.
- Maintain accurate records and compliance with company and legislative requirements.
- Respond to customer enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Support the Trade Commercial Team with asset sales and reporting.
- Complete additional tasks as required by management.
Skills And Experience
- Experience in a customer service role
- Ability to build/maintain robust, productive relationships
- Experience in an administrative role
- Experience in engaging and negotiating with internal/external suppliers and customers
- Effectively communicates verbally and in writing
- Professional and courteous customer service skills
- Proficient data entry skills, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed
- Proficient on Excel and Word
- Knowledge of the fleet management industry or used car market is desirable.
