Fortescue’s Iron Bridge mine in Australia is seeking a Mining Engineer to join the Short Term Planning team. The role is permanent with an 8D/6R FIFO roster, reporting to the Senior Mining Engineer – Short Term Planning, and focuses on short-term production scheduling and delivering the 2-week mine plan.
You will develop 2-week schedules, plan drill, blast and ore blends, optimise haulage and waste movements, produce key outputs, and work with operations to ensure plans are practical and
