Your work directly supports smarter decision‑making, compliance and long‑term business success, and you’ll manage records across assets, liabilities, profit and loss and tax obligations to ensure accuracy, integrity and transparency across all financial activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
- Apply knowledge of client, firm and industry trends and current issues.
- Prepare explicit, well‑structured work papers evidencing work performed.
- Review financial statements and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
- Identify and assist in resolving accounting issues.
- Apply basic tax compliance procedures.
- Assist with tax planning activities for clients.
- Prepare income tax returns for individuals, companies and trusts.
- Complete required regulatory forms accurately and on time.
- Meet lodgment deadlines in line with program requirements.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role.
- Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification.

Between $75,000 - $90,000 (including super), based on experience
