Join our Construction Finance team as a Project Accountant on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. You will support the financial management of major capital projects across Australia and New Zealand, partnering with Design, Construction and Finance teams to keep projects on track from planning to delivery.
What you’ll be doing
- Monitoring project costs across brownfield and greenfield developments
- Preparing and maintaining project financial reporting and reconciliations
- Supporting project budgeting and board approval processes
- Working closely with Design and Project Managers to ensure project costs are accurately captured
- Monitoring project expenditure against approved budgets
- Assisting with invoice workflow management and project cost allocation
- Identifying discrepancies and providing accurate financial insights to support decision‑making
About you
- 2‑5 years’ experience in a project, management or financial accounting role
- A degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- Advanced Excel skills, including working with large datasets and reconciliations
- Robust analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Confidence building relationships across multiple teams
- Experience with project accounting or construction projects is highly regarded
- Exposure to Procore or Microsoft Dynamics Navision is advantageous, but not essential
