Acupuncturist responsibilities include developing, implementing, and coordinating acupuncture therapy for a variety of conditions such as addiction, stroke rehabilitation, musculoskeletal issues, women’s issues, stress management, digestive issues, headache, migraine, respiratory issues, and arthritis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

- Discuss potential drug-herb interactions with Doctors and patients.
- Educate patients on lifestyle changes, exercises, stretches, meditation, and Tai Chi.
- Incorporate manual therapy (TUI NA-Chinese Remedial Massage).
- Provide diagnosis and discuss treatment plans with patients.
- Build solid relationships with patients by providing an excellent experience.
- Complete progress notes for patient treatments.
- Safeguard client confidentiality.
- Follow clinical hygiene rules deliberately.
- Practice clean needle technique.
- Maintain skilled appearance for self and therapy room.
- Follow up on license renewals.
- Seek ongoing education.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to perform clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Collaborate with mental health therapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, dietitians, wellness coaches, chiropractors, massage therapists, professional organizers, and educators to provide appropriate patient treatment.




- Other responsibilities may include: organizing community educating workshops, providing field related tips for facility newsletter and community blog, assisting with manager’s discretion duties.
- Interview and qualify new hires for Acupuncture Physicians.
- Train new Acupuncturists (shadowing only for ChenMed Florida Market).
- Conduct professional and ethical client relationships.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA

- Master’s degree in related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in related field.
- Certifications from National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
- Board certified in specialty.
- Licensed in state of practice.

PAY RANGE

$76,732 - $109,617 Salary. Final compensation will depend on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, education, geographic location, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonuses or commissions.
