We are working with a leading national transactions law firm with a strong reputation in complex, high-value M&A; and corporate deals. This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior role where you will lead transactions end-to-end, work directly with high-profile clients, and play a key role in shaping outcomes on market-leading deals.

About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Transactions lawyer to join our growing M&A; team. You’ll operate as both a trusted adviser and deal leader, taking ownership of transactions from inception through to completion while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
What you’ll do
- Lead public and private M&A; transactions from start to finish
- Draft and negotiate key transaction documents (SPA’s, shareholder and subscription agreements)
- Manage due diligence processes and coordinate deal teams
- Provide clear,
commercial advice on complex legal and strategic issues
- Build and maintain strong client and adviser relationships
- Support and develop junior lawyers within the team
- Contribute to business development and profile growth of the practice
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 4 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate/M&A;
- Strong technical knowledge of Australian corporate law and transaction structures
- Proven experience running deals independently and managing competing priorities
- Excellent drafting skills with a commercial, client-focused approach
- Confident communicator who can simplify complex issues
- Strong project management and leadership capability
