We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our team, guiding children in their early years of learning. Commencement date will be negotiated with the preferred candidate.

Your opportunity

Reporting to the Kindergarten Coordinator, this position contributes to the delivery of a contemporary cutting-edge and high‑quality early learning programme. The successful applicant will nurture each child's academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual development while fostering curiosity, confidence and a love of learning.

Key responsibilities

- Design, deliver and evaluate a contemporary and engaging Kindergarten learning programme aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports positive behaviour and wellbeing.




- Build strong respectful relationships with children, families and colleagues.
- Contribute actively to a collaborative professional learning community.
- Support the Christian ethos, values and pastoral care programmes of the College.
- Fulfil all child safety and duty of care obligations as a mandatory reporter.

Key requirements

- Tertiary qualifications in Early Childhood Education suitable for Kindergarten teaching.
- Provisional or full registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
- Valid Blue Card (E).
- First Aid and CPR certificates.
- Demonstrated experience teaching in early years settings.
- Sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines.
- A willingness to engage with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
- Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- A genuine commitment to the Anglican and Christian values of the College.

It is expected that you will have significant experience in a similar role and a mature and professional approach to your work.
