Aspen Pumps Asia Pacific is a leading manufacturer and distributor of HVAC components, specialising in high quality pumps, accessories and solutions for the global HVAC market, supporting customers across the Asia Pacific region.
About The Role
This role combines technical support, product management, supplier liaison and customer engagement. You'll work closely with international suppliers, internal teams and wholesale customers across Australia and New Zealand to help grow the product range and provide technical expertise across the business.
This isn't an outside sales role. It suits someone who enjoys solving technical problems and developing products, with customer facing work as part of the mix rather than the main focus. The role is mostly office based, with some customer visits, product training and occasional interstate and Current Zealand travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Support product development, selection and range expansion
- Work with international suppliers on new product design, improvements, specifications and launches
- Provide technical support to sales, customer service and management teams
- Assist with product testing, quality assurance and technical documentation
- Develop training materials, technical guides and sales support resources
- Conduct customer visits and deliver technical training where required
- Support the commercial team with technical expertise during customer meetings and new product introductions
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for new products
About You
- Experience in the refrigeration, air conditioning or HVAC industry, with a trade qualification or strong technical background
- Sound knowledge of refrigeration components and installation practices
- Background in technical sales, applications engineering, product management or technical support
- Strong communication, presentation and relationship building skills
- Commercial awareness and understanding of the wholesale HVAC/R market
- Well organised with the ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Current driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally
Highly Regarded
- Supermarket refrigeration or HVAC/R wholesaler experience
- Experience liaising with overseas manufacturersProduct development or management experience
- Experience preparing technical documentation or delivering product training
- Adelaide based, though not essential for the right candidate
