As our People & Culture Support Officer, you will be the administrative backbone of our Careerships Program, Learning & Organisational Development and recruitment functions. You will create and maintain efficient systems, keep records accurate, coordinate multiple priorities and bring order to a busy workplace.

- Gross remuneration of $2,905.46 per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,486.55 per fortnight plus superannuation (12%).

Duties
- Coordinate administrative activities for the Council’s Careerships Program, including recruitment, onboarding and inductions.
- Coordinate the Council’s Work Experience and Volunteer Programs.
- Manage bookings and day‑to‑day operations of the Council’s training and meeting facilities.
- Assist with the delivery of learning and development activities, workshops and organisational events.
- Support careers expos, school engagement activities and workforce attraction initiatives.
- Prepare correspondence, maintain records and systems, coordinate meetings and provide high‑quality administrative support across the People & Culture Division.
- Assist with the administration of the Council’s Individual Performance and Development Process (IPDP).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing and maintaining administrative systems, procedures and documentation.
Qualifications
- Experience providing high‑quality administrative support in a busy office environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- High attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and other business systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively while also managing tasks independently.
- Qualifications relevant to Business Administration, Human Resources or a related discipline are highly regarded.
- A current Class C Driver Licence.
