We're currently recruiting for an Environmental Advisor to join a major renewable energy project in regional Australia.

This is a site‑based contract role supporting the delivery team across environmental compliance, monitoring and reporting throughout the construction phase of the project.

Whilst renewable energy experience is highly regarded, we're also keen to speak with candidates from mining, civil infrastructure, resources or major construction project backgrounds.

The Role

Working closely with the project team, responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring environmental compliance across site activities
- Conducting site inspections, audits and environmental reporting
- Supporting the implementation of environmental management plans and project approvals
- Assisting with environmental incident investigations and corrective actions
- Providing environmental guidance to supervisors, subcontractors and project personnel
- Maintaining project records and compliance documentation
- Supporting environmental monitoring programs and regulator reporting requirements




- Promoting environmental awareness and best practice across the project

About You

- Degree qualified in Environmental Science, Environmental Management or a related discipline (essential )
- Previous experience in an Environmental Advisor, Environmental Coordinator or similar role
- Experience working on construction, infrastructure, mining, resources or renewable energy projects
- Sound understanding of environmental compliance and management systems
- Robust communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Able to work independently in a site‑based project environment
