Murrin Murrin Operations has an prospect for a skilled Fixed Plant Mechanical Fitter to join our team located at our Murrin Murrin Operations.

The Role
The successful person will be responsible for undertaking planned & reactive breakdown maintenance work in our process plant. You will have experience working on a wide variety of centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, fixed plant piping, valves and be familiar with laser alignment procedures. Previous experience with high pressure & high temperature Autoclaves will also be an advantage for our Refinery Area.
Ideally you will have experienced sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks & related agitators, and various pumps.
About You
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification (Essential)
- A current and valid manual Australian Driver’s licence
- Proven experience with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps
- Proven experience working with all types of fixed plant piping, valves, and laser alignment
- Ideally have experienced sizer screens, mills, thickener tanks & related agitators, and various pumps.
- Previous Autoclave experience (desirable)
- Experience working with area permit systems; safe work instructions and hazard identification
- Strong communication skills & excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving abilities.
