Assistant Village Manager - Aged Care

We are searching for our next Assistant Village Manager.

Your new role will be:

- Working closely and collaboratively with the Village Manager, you will support the team in the management of all new residents, current residents and relevant stakeholders.
- You will deliver quality service, creating a supportive and caring workplace for our community.
- Support 2 villages in close proximity – the beautiful Bimbimbie Park (Merimbula) and Sanananda Village (Tura Beach).
- This is a permanent position, 30 hours per week, ideally 4 days a week with occasional Saturday morning.
- Flexibility with weekly hours depending on the candidate’s availability.
- Role may involve travel across NSW.
- Aged care experience desirable but not necessary; we are looking for someone with the right attitude and personality.

About you:

- Previous relevant experience in a customer‑focused role.
- Excellent people and communication skills, both written and oral, and the ability to interact with residents with respect and empathy.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise and work under minimal supervision.
- Experience building positive relationships with key stakeholders, clients, colleagues, and service providers.
- Resilience, strong commercial acumen and highly organised.




- A good understanding of the Retirement Villages Act or willingness to learn.
- Can confidently manage administrative responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Windows, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the ability to quickly learn other systems.
- Self‑starter, capable of working independently, thinking creatively, and demonstrating soft sales and customer service skills.
