Role: Casual Educator

Location: Riverside Gardens - Townsville QLD

Centre: Goodstart Riverside Gardens

Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6am and 6pm (Must be available on Wednesdays)

Pay: $42.88 - $48.29 per hr

About the Role

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you’ll be a flexible, team‑oriented professional, ready to support our centres and children wherever and whenever needed. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures every child has enriching and responsive learning experiences.

Responsibilities

- Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
- Engaging and supervising the children at all times
- Maintaining a secure environment for children, families and team members
- Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
- Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
- Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

Qualifications & Requirements

Required to hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, Current QLD Working with Children Check, be willing to travel between local services and have flexible availability between Monday‑Friday, 6am‑6pm.
