Unidex actively recruits for all areas in the health care field specializing in Disability Services, Support Services and Allied Health.
We are currently seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker based in Warwick for two separate male participants in the area, one who is living with a Spinal Cord Injury and one with a Traumatic Brain Injury. These roles involve providing high-quality, person-centred support, including assistance with personal care, hoist transfers, bowel care, skin integrity monitoring, domestic assistance, and community access.
We are seeking reliable and compassionate support workers with strong availability across weekdays and weekends. Flexibility to work a variety of morning, afternoon, and weekend shifts is essential. Experience in the above areas is highly regarded,
along with a commitment to promoting clients' independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
We are particularly interested in hearing from support workers with experience in:
- Personal care and showering supports
- Hoist transfers and manual handling
- Bowel care supports
- Spinal cord injury supports
- Community access and appointment attendance
Skills & Experience
- Australian Driver’s License
- Current National Police Clearance within 12 months
- Current Blue Card
- Current Yellow Card
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Ability to follow care plans and maintain participant dignity and independence
