As part of our organisational redesign, we're introducing new roles that support Darebin's future focus and priorities.
About the role:
Under the supervision of the Operations Team Leader, the Public Programs & Venue Services Officer designs and delivers a range of creative workshops and events at Bundoora Homestead Art Centre, including kids’ art classes, history tours, and adult art and craft workshops. This position also plays a support role to visitor services at the Homestead, greeting customers and providing exhibition information.
You will:
- Design and deliver weekly art and craft workshop for families and young children
- Design and deliver education and heritage tours at Bundoora Homestead.
- Liaise with contractors to coordinate the delivery of specialised art and craft workshops and events.
- Provide visitor services support at the gallery front desk
About you:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed administrative, operational and organisational skills
- Well-developed customer service principles and practice
