Best Sourcing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to evaluate and improve the ICT systems supporting its distribution and online retail operations. The successful candidate will work with management and system users to identify requirements, analyse current system functionality, prepare system specifications, coordinate approved improvements and test implemented solutions.

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000 to $95,000 per annum plus Superannuation

Key Responsibilities

- Evaluate existing ICT systems supporting product distribution, stock management, online sales, order processing and business reporting
- Consult with management and system users to identify operational issues, system requirements and required functionality
- Analyse system processes, information flows and data requirements and recommend suitable system modifications
- Prepare functional specifications, process models, system requirements and implementation documentation
- Assess proposed applications, system components and integrations against business and user requirements
- Coordinate the configuration, implementation and integration of approved system changes
- Develop and carry out system, integration and user acceptance testing
- Investigate system defects, workflow failures and data issues and coordinate their resolution
- Monitor implemented systems to assess performance, reliability, data accuracy and user outcomes
- Prepare user procedures,



system documentation and training materials
- Liaise with software providers, technical consultants and internal users during system improvement projects
- Ensure system changes support data integrity, information security and operational continuity

Candidate Requirements

- Bachelor degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience as a Systems Analyst or in a comparable ICT systems analysis role
- Experience evaluating ICT systems and translating user requirements into functional system specifications
- Strong knowledge of systems analysis, process modelling, data requirements, system integration and testing methodologies
- Experience with inventory, distribution, e-commerce, order management or business reporting systems will be highly regarded
- Ability to prepare system specifications, testing documentation, user procedures and implementation records
- Strong analytical, technical problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple system improvement activities and coordinate with users and external providers
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate technical documentation
