Your New Role

Start your career with Westpac’s Consumer Graduate Program and gain hands‑on experience from day one. You'll work on meaningful initiatives, build in-demand skills, and develop a strong qualified network while contributing to outcomes that matter for our customers and communities.

What can you expect as a Consumer Graduate?

This is a 15-month program with 3 x 5-month rotations.

Through diverse rotations across the Consumer Division, you’ll build broad business knowledge, sharpen your skills, and develop the networks that set you up for success.

From Mortgages, Everyday Banking and Consumer Finance to Sales Optimisation, Change,



Operations and Business Controls—you’ll step into the teams that power our business and shape customer outcomes every day.

You’ll gain experience across a wide range of teams, building the capability, confidence and connections to accelerate your career.

Future Career Opportunities

This program can lead to a wide range of opportunities across Consumer Banking. Depending on your interests and experience, you may progress into roles such as Product Manager, Associate Business Analyst, Operations Manager, Change Manager, and more.

With exposure to opportunities across the wider Consumer Division, you'll be well positioned to shape a career that grows with you.

Eligibility

- You must be in your final year of study of a university degree, or
- You have completed an undergraduate or postgraduate degree, but it must be no more than three years ago.
- You also need to be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident when you apply.

You will need to be available to start with us as a permanent employee in February 2027.
