Early Childhood Teacher | Full-Time

Glenhaven Early Learning Centre is seeking a passionate, dedicated and experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our warm and supportive team in Kenthurst.

Glenhaven Early Learning Centre is a small, family-owned early childhood service set on five beautiful acres in Kenthurst. We offer a warm, community-focused environment where children, families and educators feel valued, supported and connected.

Our centre has a mature, friendly and experienced team who take great pride in the care, education and relationships they build with children each day. Many of our educators have been with us for several years, reflecting the supportive culture and positive working environment we have created.

We are highly regarded within our local community and are committed to providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children aged from birth to five years.

You will enjoy the support of a dedicated owner and manager who is also an Early Childhood Teacher with more than 30 years of experience. She is actively involved in the day-to-day operation of the service, educational practice and the ongoing support of the team.

The Role

We are currently seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team on a full-time basis.

Applicants must hold an ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and current NESA accreditation, or be eligible to obtain accreditation.

The successful applicant will ideally have at least three years of experience working with children from birth to five years.



They will have a robust understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard and enjoy working collaboratively as part of a supportive team.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, warm, motivated and professional, with a genuine commitment to supporting children’s learning, wellbeing and development.

The successful applicant should also enjoy working with children across all age groups from birth to five years in an early childhood education and care setting.

About You

You will be someone who:

- Holds an ACECQA-recognised Early Childhood Teaching degree

- Holds current NESA accreditation or is eligible to obtain accreditation

- Is passionate about working with children aged from birth to five years

- Is available to work full-time, five days per week, although four days may be considered

- Ideally has at least three years of experience in an early childhood setting

- Has strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS

- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team

- Is reliable, warm, motivated and professional

- Brings care, enthusiasm and initiative to their role each day
