M & L McLean Cleaning Services is a proudly regional Victorian business with over 50 years of experience delivering commercial, industrial and office cleaning services across Western Victoria. M&L; McLean have built their reputation on quality, reliability and exceptional client service, and are excited to expand with a new Operations Manager role who will help lead this chapter of growth.
This is a hands-on leadership role where the Operations Manager will lead teams, maintain client relationships, oversee service delivery and ensure high operational standards across multiple sites.

The Role

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of services across client sites throughout Western Victoria. You will work closely with supervisors, cleaning teams and clients to maintain high service standards and strong working relationships. You will be a practical, people-focused leader who enjoys rolling up your sleeves to help out, solving problems, building relationships and ensuring high-performing teams that deliver the quality outcomes M&L; McLean Cleaning Services are known for.

Duties

- Leading, coaching and mentoring cleaning staff and supervisors.
- Managing rosters, assistance with sourcing staff and responding to operational requirements.
- Conducting site inspections and quality audits.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Handling service issues and identifying continuous improvement opportunities.
- Managing equipment, stock and site resources.
- Preparing quotations and assisting with business development activities.
- Promoting the M&L; McLean Cleaning Services Brand and sourcing recent clients.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
- Providing hands-on operational support when required.





Essential Skills & Experience

- Experience in commercial cleaning and facilities roles essential.
- Proven experience leading and motivating commercial cleaning teams.
- Strong customer service and client relationship management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Sound understanding of industry specific WHS requirements, including sanitation and industrial cleaning product, storage and equipment procedures.
- Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach to work.

- Vulnerable Adult’s check
- National Police Check
- Capability to frequently walk, stand, and safely lift, move and operate industrial cleaning equipment
