The Senior Project Officer, Commercial and Regulatory is responsible for reviewing and developing advice on the commercial and regulatory performance of various bodies within the Water Portfolio.

The Senior Project Officer will have a sound understanding of the water sector and the roles of the 18 water corporations, 9 Catchment Management Authorities, the Victorian Environmental Water Holder and the Birrarung Council. The Senior Project Officer will advise on the accountabilities of entities and the roles of government departments and regulators with a view to finding efficiencies in the way the sector operates based on advice from subject matter experts.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications

- Tertiary or other recognised qualification in Commerce, Economics, Technology, Law, Science or Engineering.
- Experience in understanding and interpreting financial models and balance sheets.
- Experience in developing and preparing documents for both internal and public distribution.
- Experience in working as part of a team that carries out diverse and varied business activities.

This is a fixed term position available until 30 September 2028. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
