Finance Manager opportunity to lead a team of six in an essential community care organisation Your new company Our client is a well-established and highly regarded provider within the aged care and disability services sector, committed to delivering meaningful support to local communities.

They are currently seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their South Sunshine Coast team on a full-time basis, with an immediate start available. With a national footprint and head office in Sydney, this organisation offers the opportunity to take on a key leadership role while contributing to services that make a genuine difference in the lives of others. This is an opportunity to lead, manage and develop a team of six staff members overseeing payroll and accounting support functions. You will bring a hands-on approach across all financial processes, including financial reporting and full compliance with statutory obligations. As a key member within management, you will partner directly with internal stakeholders as a trusted financial partner, providing insights to shape the financial direction and growth of the business.

This role would suit someone who likes to contribute to process improvement and is confident in communicating their recommendations on cost reduction, efficiency improvement and margin optimisation. Key duties: Oversee and ensure completion of all statutory obligations including GST (IAS/BAS), PAYG, payroll tax, superannuation and FBT

Lead, manage and develop the existing finance team Prepare and present monthly management accounts (P&L;, balance sheet and cash flow)



to senior management Lead the preparation of quarterly trial balance submissions, annual budgets, rolling forecasts and variance analysis

Oversee the financial management of Home Care Packages (HCP) including billing, reconciliation and annual reporting Monitor legislative and regulatory changes, advising management on impacts and required actions What you'll need to succeed

CA/CPA qualified with 5 years' experience in a finance management role Experience leading and developing a small finance team Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present financial information to non-financial stakeholders Proven ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and work autonomously Proficient in MYOB software & MS Packages

Current and clear Criminal Record Check Desirable experience Experience in the aged care or community services sector

Knowledge of Home Care Package (HCP) billing and compliance requirements Familiarity with care management software tools What you'll get in return
