MODERN DESIGN WARDROBES PTY LTD is seeking a motivated and organised Office Manager to join our team in Moorebank, NSW. This is a full-time permanent position responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the business and supporting the efficient delivery of our custom wardrobe, kitchen and joinery projects.

Task & responsibilities Contribute to the planning, development and continuous review of office administration services, establish office priorities, and implement service standards to support the efficient delivery of custom wardrobe, kitchen, shower screen and interior fit-out projects.
Allocate human resources, office space, equipment and administrative resources to ensure the smooth coordination of office operations and project support activities. Assign work to administrative staff, monitor work performance,
provide guidance and supervision, and ensure tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes. Coordinate personnel activities including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, payroll administration, staff leave, promotions and day-to-day supervision in collaboration with management.
Manage office records, customer files, supplier documentation, contracts, quotations, invoices, purchase orders and financial accounts while ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of business information. Liaise with directors, designers, project managers, installers, suppliers, contractors and other professionals to coordinate office operations, facilitate communication and resolve operational issues efficiently. Coordinate office support for project scheduling, customer orders, supplier deliveries and installation timelines to ensure the efficient flow of information between office and site teams.
Oversee procurement of office equipment, furniture, stationery and administrative supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels and the ongoing maintenance of office equipment and facilities. Develop, implement and improve office procedures, administrative systems and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and customer service standards. Assist in preparing business reports, operational documents, contracts, correspondence and management reports to support informed decision-making.
Coordinate with external service providers, including IT support, maintenance contractors, cleaning services and equipment suppliers, to ensure uninterrupted office operations. Monitor office expenditure, assist in budget administration,
process supplier invoices, coordinate vendor payments and maintain accurate financial and administrative records. Support customer service operations by ensuring enquiries, appointments, quotations and administrative requests are managed professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (WHS) legislation by maintaining safe office practices, coordinating workplace safety procedures and supporting staff compliance with safety requirements. Ensure all office operations comply with relevant government legislation, company policies, privacy requirements and administrative procedures. Coordinate office meetings, staff schedules, business travel arrangements and company events as required to support operational objectives.
Maintain effective relationships with suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to ensure the timely delivery of products and services supporting business operations. Identify opportunities to improve administrative processes, implement efficiency initiatives and support the continuous improvement of office systems and business performance. Provide administrative support to senior management by coordinating office activities, monitoring operational priorities and ensuring the efficient day-to-day management of the business.
Qualification & experience Diploma in Business, Management or a related field, or equivalent industry experience. Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in an office management or administration role. Strong organisational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general office administration systems. Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
