3-month temporary HR contract Are you an experienced HR Business Partner looking for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact within a large, complex organisation? Hays is partnering with a well-regarded organisation in Canberra seeking an experienced People Partner to join their People & Culture team.
Working closely with leaders across the business, you will provide strategic and operational HR support while contributing to a range of workforce initiatives and organisational change programmes. This is a fantastic opportunity for a people-focused HR professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders, navigating complex employee matters and influencing positive organisational outcomes. The Role
As a trusted advisor, you will: Build robust relationships with leaders and provide expert people advice. Support and coach managers through employee relations matters, including performance, conduct and workplace issues.
Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design and change initiatives. Interpret and apply employment legislation, policies and industrial instruments. Provide guidance across the employee life cycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance and capability development.
Support the delivery of strategic People & Culture initiatives.
Contribute to workforce risk management and governance activities. Work collaboratively across the broader People & Culture team to deliver high-quality outcomes.
About You To be successful, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience in a Human Resources Business Partner, People Partner or Senior HR Advisor role. Strong employee relations and case management experience. Proven ability to influence and build credibility with managers and senior stakeholders.
Experience supporting organisational change and transformation initiatives. Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation and workplace relations frameworks. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A pragmatic, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively in a changing environment. What's On Offer
