JTGovan Consulting is recruiting on behalf of a valued client for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a growing civil construction business delivering a diverse portfolio of infrastructure projects.
This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects from award through to completion. Rather than managing one component of a large project, you’ll lead the full project lifecycle—working closely with clients, subcontractors and site teams to deliver successful outcomes.
The Opportunity
As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of multiple civil construction projects, including:
* Project planning and programming.* Procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.* Cost control, forecasting and financial management.* Client and stakeholder management.* Contract administration and project reporting.* Quality, safety and environmental compliance.* Leading site teams and coordinating construction activities.* Managing project handover and close-out.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your ability to solve problems, build relationships and make decisions will be valued.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
* A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.* Proven experience delivering civil construction projects from commencement through to completion.* Robust commercial and contractual understanding.* Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.* The confidence to lead projects independently while working collaboratively with clients and internal teams.* A practical, solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
