Job Description

Guzman Y Gomez is seeking a friendly and efficient Crew Member to join our team at our Mount Barker, Australia location. As a Crew Member, you will be an essential part of our fast-paced restaurant environment, delivering exceptional service and quality food to our customers. You will work collaboratively with your team to ensure smooth daily operations while maintaining our high standards of food preparation, customer service, and restaurant cleanliness.

Prepare and assemble food items according to Guzman Y Gomez recipes and quality standardsTake customer orders accurately and process payments using the point-of-sale systemMaintain a clean and organized work station, including food preparation areas and service countersProvide friendly and efficient customer service,



addressing customer inquiries and concernsFollow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure customer safety and satisfactionStock and rotate inventory items, reporting low stock levels to managementCollaborate with team members to meet service times and handle peak service periodsAssist with opening and closing procedures, including cleaning and equipment checksRespond to customer feedback professionally and escalate issues to management when necessarySupport team members and contribute to a positive, cooperative work environment

Qualifications

Previous food service or restaurant experience (preferred)Knowledge of food handling and safety practicesStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentReliable and punctual with flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekendsPhysical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasksAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality standardsCash handling experience (preferred)Basic mathematical skills for order processing and payment handlingAbility to work collaboratively as part of a teamStrong communication skills and positive attitudeWillingness to learn and follow company procedures and policies
