About the role

As an Instructional Designer, you will play a critical role in the on-time development of online learning and assessment resources.

Working with a defined set of tools and platforms including but not limited our LMS you will be responsible for constructing accurate, engaging and interactive learning resources, utilising feedback to refine those drafts and developing effective online assessments following clear and detailed briefs.

You will work closely with the project lead and subject matter experts to create high-quality learning solutions that deliver measurable outcomes.

What you'll be doing

- Collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders and the project lead to produce cutting-edge and highly engaging learning experiences.

- Apply contemporary instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles and educational technologies to create effective learning solutions quickly and accurately.

- Review and refine course content to ensure alignment with learner needs and program objectives.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- Experience in instructional design, learning design or educational development within vocational education, higher education or workforce training environments.

- Strong experience developing online learning solutions using LMS platforms with the ability to adapt to different platforms as needed.





- Knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design frameworks and learner engagement strategies including Universal Design principles.

- Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

- Creativity, innovation and a passion for developing high-quality learning experiences that deliver real-world impact.

About you

You are enthusiast, honest and hard working. You will be available for part-time work (approximately 20 hours per week)

Essential criteria

- At least 12 months prior experience delivering similar educational products to specification.

- An excellent working knowledge of available tools and software options including but not limited to AI tools

- Strong ability to work self paced and to strict deadlines.

- Great communication, collaboration and teamwork skills.

- Communication skills (written and verbal) that are well above the average.

- Honesty and integrity.

- High degree of organisational skills including the ability to prioritise and manage multiple sub tasks effectively to deliver on time outcomes.

As a part time role you will enjoy flexible work hours and days during the week (as negotiated)



and after an initial induction period you may apply for Work From home arrangements for some of your workdays.

Based on the overall success on this 6-month contract, you will be considered for suitable permanent roles which may be available at that time.
