The opportunity

We’re looking for someone who’s spent their career underground in production and still wants to stay close to site — just without the full-time FIFO lifestyle.

This role sits right in the middle of operations and commercial. You’ll be the person on site making sure trials actually work, technologies get adopted, and value is clearly demonstrated to clients.

It’s a hands-on, site-facing position working with Tier 1 underground mining clients, particularly across drill & blast, survey, and technical services.

You’ll be supporting deployment of products like OMNIxBOLT systems and survey hole tools, with scope to be involved across a broader product stack over time.

Who we’re really looking for

We need someone who:

- Has years underground in production environments

- Comes from drill & blast, survey, or technical services

- Has built up a robust reputation and network across sites

- Can walk onto a mine site and already know people (or be known)

- Has practical credibility — someone crews and engineers listen to

We’re open to someone who might be:

- Stepping away from FIFO-heavy roles

- Looking for more balance but still wants meaningful site involvement

- Keen to leverage their industry knowledge in a different way

What the role involves





- Planning and running structured field trials aligned to site needs

- Being on site to lead setup, commissioning, and execution

- Working directly with:

1. Production teams

2. Drill & blast

3. Survey

4. Technical services

- Troubleshooting in real-time underground

- Making sure tools are actually being used properly and delivering results

- Integrating solutions into day-to-day mining workflows

- Collecting and analysing operational data like:

1. Drill accuracy / hole deviation

2. Dilution and overbreak

- Turning that into clear, practical insights

- Demonstrating real dollar value and production improvements

- Delivering straightforward, credible trial reports

- Supporting sites to move from trial to business-as-usual

- Assisting with SOPs and basic training where needed

- Supporting conversion of trials into ongoing work

- Providing feedback to product teams

To be successful

We're looking for someone who is looking for a 50/50 split between site and home. This is not a desk role – site presence is critical, especially in early phase while things ramp up.

You will also bring:

- 5+ years in underground mining operations (production-focused)

- Strong background in either:

1. Drill & blast

2. Production drilling

3. Survey or technical services

- Experience in methods like Longhole Stoping (LHOS)



or SLC

- Solid understanding of drill & blast fundamentals

- Exposure to field trials or on-site technical work

- Ability to interpret data and link it to operational and cost outcomes

- Established industry relationships
