The Opportunity

As a result of continued growth, TAMS is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced and suitably qualified Supervisors to support the delivery of a range of marine infrastructure maintenance projects across our Perth metropolitan operations.

About the Role

This role will be responsible for supervising onsite crews of approximately 5–10 personnel, providing strong leadership, technical support, and clear direction to achieve safe, productive, and high-quality outcomes. The position will oversee a variety of construction and maintenance projects across port environments. The scope of work will vary and includes concrete works structural steel works, and general marine remediation projects.

Working closely with Site Management and project teams, this role will coordinate resources, monitor progress, and ensure works are delivered in line with project programmes, specifications, QA requirements, ITPs, drawings, and client standards.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

- Manage projects involving concrete repairs, structural steel installation and repairs and general marine maintenance activities

- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and resources to support project delivery and meet programme requirements

- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and project stakeholders

- Prepare daily reports, progress updates, and project documentation

- Interpret construction drawings, work packs,



and specifications to ensure works are completed accurately and efficiently

- Promote a strong safety culture by identifying hazards, supporting safe work practices, and ensuring correct use of PPE and equipment

Key Requirements

Essential

- Previous experience in a Project Supervisor, Site Supervisor, or similar role

- Trade qualification in Carpentry, Concreting, or related construction discipline

- Background in concrete remediation, structural steel works, construction, or industrial maintenance

- Sound understanding of construction methodologies and site safety requirements

- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and construction documentation

- Strong computer literacy, with the ability to confidently use Microsoft Office Suite and relevant systems for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes

- Understanding of QA processes, ITPs, and project compliance requirements

- Strong commitment to safety leadership and compliance

- Construction Industry White Card

- Valid C Class Driver’s Licence

Desirable

- Experience in marine construction environments

- Supervisor certification, leadership training, or demonstrated supervisory experience

- Relevant site-based certifications and competencies including First Aid, Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, and High Risk Work Licences (Dogging/Rigging/Forklift etc.)

- Current MSIC Card (or ability to obtain where required)
