A newly created opportunity for a Lawyer or Associate (2–5 PAE) to join a leading national firm’s growing Insurance practice in Adelaide.
You’ll be part of a highly regarded practice acting for major insurers and government clients, working on a diverse mix of CTP, workers compensation and public liability matters. This role offers the chance to run your own files with support, while gaining exposure to complex and high-value litigation.
The Role
You will work across a broad range of defendant insurance matters, that will see you:
- Managing files from commencement through to resolution
- Drafting court documents, correspondence and advices
- Preparing briefs for counsel and expert instructions
- Conducting legal research and preparing chronologies
- Liaising with clients, witnesses and third parties
- Attending court and assisting with hearings
You’ll be supported by a collaborative team while developing both your technical and client-facing skills.
About You
- 2–5 years PAE in defendant insurance litigation
- Exposure to CTP,
workers compensation, public liability or similar
- Well developed drafting skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage files with appropriate supervision
