About the role

Optimum Scaffolding is seeking experienced Scaffolders and Labourers to join our team. This is a hands-on position based in Wyong, NSW 2259, where you will be responsible for erecting, maintaining, and dismantling scaffolding across various project sites. These roles are suitable for people looking for long term employment with consistent work.

What you'll be doing

- Installing scaffolding structures using various materials and techniques in accordance with safety standards and specifications

- Inspecting scaffolding systems to ensure structural integrity and compliance with relevant regulations and industry guidelines

- Maintaining and repairing existing scaffolding systems to ensure they remain safe and functional throughout the duration of projects

- Dismantling and removing scaffolding structures upon project completion

- Working collaboratively with construction teams, site managers, and other trades to coordinate installation and removal activities

- Assisting with general labouring duties on construction sites, including material handling, site preparation, and equipment transport

- Following all relevant health and safety procedures and protocols, including the wearing of personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Responding to site-specific requirements and adapting work methods as directed by site supervisors

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working as a Scaffolder or in a similar labouring role within the construction or trades industry

- Current White Card certification (Construction Induction Card)

- Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights and in confined spaces

- Experience with reading plans, specifications, and technical documentation

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety standards





- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions

- Reliability and punctuality, with flexibility to work varying hours and multiple sites

- A valid driver's licence is highly desirable
