Aussie Fluid Power is looking for a Purchasing Officer to take ownership of our procurement process at our North Coogee site. Day-to-day you'll handle purchase orders end-to-end, from placement through to delivery, working with local and international suppliers and keeping the wider team across anything that affects supply.

What You'll Do
- Raise and manage purchase orders with local and international suppliers.
- Select suppliers based on price, lead time, quality and availability.
- Coordinate with international suppliers on order placement, shipping and documentation.
- Monitor all purchase orders and proactively manage delivery issues before they escalate.
- Liaise with freight forwarders for inbound shipment updates and revised schedules.
- Keep relevant divisions informed of ETAs and any significant delays.
- Obtain customer POs and confirm orders are correctly entered in the system.
- Support the team with general admin tasks and help guide less experienced team members.
- Support sales order processing, including obtaining customer POs and confirming orders are correctly entered in the system.
- Work through the expediting requests and follow up on any overdue orders.
What We're Looking For
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain administration.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
- Clear communicator and confident dealing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
- Good at prioritising and staying on top of things when the pace picks up.
- Comfortable working with ERP systems.
- A reliable team player who can also manage their own workload.
