About the role
We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Creche Team Leader on a part time basis of 50 hours per fortnight to supervise and oversee the Creche at Swan Active Beechboro. You will play a crucial role in providing a positive and engaging experience for children in our care. You will have the opportunity to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, contribute to their developmental growth, and build meaningful connections with both children and their families.
Key accountabilities include, but are not limited to;
- Ensure the overall safety and wellbeing of the children.
- Interact and actively play with the children.
- Facilitate a range of activities that are free play and structured to ensure the children have a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Arrange Creche room bookings (ie party bookings) from enquiry to completion and ensure that Creche presentation and safety standards are delivered.
- Perform other administrative duties as required.
About you
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Relevant Childcare qualification or working towards similar
- Experience with work practices and procedures relevant to child care
- Ability to effectively communicate with children and their families
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Current Working With Children’s Check
- A satisfactory National Police Certificate is required.
- Basic understanding of computer systems
- Availability to work early mornings, afternoons and weekends where required

The salary for this position will be from $66,032.98 to $71,866.82 per annum pro rata, depending on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
