And, with our purpose-built facility in Sydney, we have the capabilities to create unique one-off products to precise specifications.We are currently looking for a skilled stonemason to join our team on full-time basis.Role: Full timeSalary: $65,000 to $80,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)Location: Marrickville, NSWResponsibilities:1. Read and understand drawings and specifications to determine materials required2. Work closely with clients to understand their design preference and provide recommendations.3. Choose the most suitable stones for each project based on factors like durability, appearance, and intended use4. Expertly cut, shape and carve a variety of stones to create stunning architectural features and intricate designs according to specifications5. Accurately measure and calculate to ensure proper proportions and symmetry6. Arrange and set stones in mortar and other binding materials to create walls, floors and other structures or renovate them7. Cut, polish and install kitchen benchtops, construct walls using stone slab as per customer requirements8.



Cut and polish natural and engineered stones using wet cutting and polishing hand tools.9. Laminate or glue for different types of stones, shape and polish different edges as required10. Assemble and fabricate various parts to create a finished product.11. Maintain, sharpen, and care for your tools, ensuring their efficiency and safety throughout projects.12. Prioritize safety by following established protocols, using protective equipment, and promoting a safe working environment for yourself and your team.Requirements:1. Certificate III in Stonemasonry2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience3. Understanding of different stone properties4. Knowledge and experience with heavy and power toolsSkills & Competencies:1. Ability to maintain project timelines and ensure timely completion2. Familiarity with traditional and modern stonemasonry techniques.3. Strong attention to detail and an eye for design and symmetry.4. Ability to interpret blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings.5. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.6.
