Overview A health service on the NSW/VIC border is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist for a temporary position from 01/07/2026 to 02/10/2026, with potential for ongoing engagement.
Rate: $2,600.00 per day; Approximate annual salary of AUD 2,600 per year.
Responsibilities
Provide psychiatric care as part of a team comprising 2 Consultants and 4 registrars.
Maintain day‑to‑day clinical duties, including patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow‑up.
Participate in on‑call rotation: one weeknight on call every two weeks.
Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical and administrative protocols.
Qualifications & Requirements
Board‑certified as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
RANZCP supervisor certification required.
ECT certification required.
Registration with AHPRA.
Right to work in Australia.
