We are seeking a suitably qualified communications technician to complement our team within the Engineering Services division at our Berrimah office. This role will see personnel carrying out structured cabling installation and testing for a high-profile Defence project.
Key responsibilities
- Complete requisite safety documentation prior to task commencement, such as Take‑5s and SWMS.
- Construction of communications racks, and installation of cable tray/basket.
- Install, terminate and test structured cabling.
About you
- Construction industry white card.
- Open cabling registration with structured endorsement (fibre endorsement desirable).
- Australian Citizenship and ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline Clearance.
- Current valid manual driver’s license.
- Local to the greater Darwin region – this is not a FIFO position.
- Working knowledge of relevant standards and technical advice.
- Ability to travel to and from Katherine (accommodation, meals and LAHA provided).
- Working at heights and High Risk Work License (WP) (desirable).
