Our Townsville Home and Community Service is seeking a full-time Clinical Nurse to join our Clinical team. The overall purpose of the Clinical Nurse is to provide comprehensive specialist nursing care, clinical expertise and leadership. The role will support the service as a clinical and management resource in delivery of quality and best practice nursing care while leading, motivating and developing a small team and maintaining and building relationships with key stakeholders. The pay-rate for the role will range between $61.13-$63.29/hr .

This position is Monday-Friday, no more weekends or night shifts! If full-time, you will also accrue a monthly day off otherwise, we can be open to shorter hours - just let us know your preference.

We are seeking:

- Specialised knowledge and expertise in the area of community nursing across the lifespan including nursing assessment, case management and evaluation
- Demonstrated leadership and management skills at a work group level and the drive and experience to lead a nursing team
- Excellent interpersonal/communication and analytical skills (written and oral), coupled with training, coaching or mentoring skills and experience
- Understanding of funding programs which may include HCP, CHSP, QCSS and Fee for Service
- Working knowledge of accreditation standards and proven ability to actively and positively participate and contribute to Continuous Quality Improvement activities and systems review and operation

Role Requirements:

- Current National Police Check OR Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
- Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
- Degree in Nursing




- Current CPR Certification
- Current AHPRA registration and evidence of recent practice
- Postgraduate qualification in Health or other relevant/specific area of clinical practice - desirable
