We are looking for a Duty Manager to lead our swimming centre operations, ensuring safety and high‑quality service for all patrons.

The Role

The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co‑ordinate day‑to‑day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and service delivery. The role requires enthusiasm, reliability, friendliness and a passion for water safety.

Key expectations include:

- Lead and inspire the lifeguard and support staff
- Maintain compliance with WHS and public safety regulations
- Ensure open communication with patrons of all ages and abilities
- Work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings and weekends
- Implement coaching and leadership within the team

Skills & Attributes

- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and inspire colleagues
- Understanding of WHS and public safety applications within the facility
- Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends




- Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
- National Police Check
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Previous experience in a comparable role is highly regarded
