Westgold is seeking a driven and technically strong Senior Geologist - Resource Definition to lead drilling programs, grow resources, and play a key role in shaping Life of Mine outcomes. This is a leadership role offering the chance to influence operational success while mentoring and developing a high‑performing geology team.

What You'll Be Doing

- Lead and supervise resource definition drilling, logging, and QAQC processes
- Manage and mentor geologists, graduates, and technicians
- Plan and coordinate drilling programs aligned with Life of Mine strategies
- Analyse and interpret geological data to support resource growth and optimisation
- Collaborate closely with mining and technical teams to deliver production outcomes
- Ensure safe, efficient, and cost‑effective geological operations

What You'll Bring

- 7+ years' experience in mining geology (gold experience preferred)
- Demonstrated leadership experience within a production environment
- Strong technical capability across drilling, data management, and geological interpretation
- Experience with Surpac, Leapfrog, and QAQC processes
- Ability to influence, communicate, and drive performance across multidisciplinary teams
