Position Details

Palm Lake Care Beachmere is seeking Food Service Assistants to join our team on a Part Time or Casual basis.

Responsibilities

- Preparation of serving nutritious and attractive meals to our residents.
- Work with the Cook to ensure meals are plated and presented in an attractive and appeasing manner.
- Understand and respect residents' preferences and ensure all food and beverage is served accordingly.
- Serve and distribute morning and afternoon teas.
- Assist the Cook with the ordering and rotating of food stocks.
- Clean dishes after each meal to maintain a high standard of cleanliness for our residents.
- Deliver excellent customer service to our residents and their families.

Qualifications

- Motivated individuals focused on providing the best support for our residents.
- A current National Police Check.
- Prior experience in a similar role within Aged Care – essential.




- Readiness and willingness to learn new skills.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and take initiative.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a proactive support role to cook.
- Excellent hygiene standards.
- Knowledge of Food Safety Standards.
