About The Role

As an Industrial Vacuum Operator, you’ll play a vital role in delivering essential environmental and industrial services across site locations. This is a hands‑on role where safety, teamwork, and reliability are key.

You’ll be working across operational sites supporting vacuuming, cleaning, and environmental services using specialised equipment in a supportive team environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Operating vacuum trucks and travelling to job sites (short travel distances)
- Completing safety documentation before work, including:
- Take 5
- SLAMS
- JSEA
- Isolation permits and lock out/tag out procedures

- Setting up and managing vacuum hoses across multi-level structures
- Working in confined spaces and at heights safely and effectively
- Performing industrial cleaning tasks, including vacuuming coal ash and dust cells
- Supporting additional services such as:

- Hydro excavation (non‑destructive digging)




- Environmental spill response and clean‑up

- Maintaining equipment, cleaning trucks, and ensuring high housekeeping standards

What You’ll Bring

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends when required

Required Qualifications

- Confined Space Entry certification
- Working at Heights certification
- HR Truck Licence
