Trade Counter Assistant - Plumbing Taren Point (TH)

About the Role

Here’s a exciting opportunity to be based from one of our high performing training hubs. In this role you will partner with branch leaders and the team to accelerate your knowledge. As part of the Branch Staff team at Plumbing Taren Point, you’ll help plumbers and other tradespeople access the products they need for building and renovation projects, and undertake other tasks that keep the branch running smoothly. Become a trusted Trade Counter Assistant quickly and have the opportunity to move within the region and support other branches with your expertise.

Responsibilities

- Providing customer service and information about products
- Providing quotes both in person and over the phone
- Undertaking pick packing and stock control activities
- Helping keep the branch tidy and safe
- Making deliveries to customers using a company vehicle
- Continuing upskilling with tailored on‑the‑job training initiatives

Qualifications

- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service,



and enjoys helping customers both in person and over the phone
- Can pick orders, maintain shop floor displays, and ensure information provided is accurate
- Can use a computer and is happy to learn current systems
- Has a clean, valid driver’s licence and is open to working various shifts, including weekends
- Wants to develop their career locally or within the broader network
