La Sienna is an Australian Children's wear brand focusing on creating comfortable and practical clothing with quality at its forefront. Founded over 12 years ago, we have become a well known & loved brand by families worldwide.

We are looking for a garment technician to assist in future childrenswear collections as well as the launch of our matching Women's Collection.

Responsibilities

- Develop technical packs including size specifications, fit comments, grading rules and tolerances for all styles briefed - including colour ups.
- Ensure all the fit samples, bulk shipment samples and pre production samples to arrive on time and adhere to quality.
- Attend and run fit sessions, provide technical knowledge, check finishes and measure samples.
- Responsible for all fits and bulk shipment comments to be sent out on time.
- Communicate transparent and detailed instructions to offshore manufacturers throughout the sampling and bulk process.
- Maintain fit, construction, and workmanship standards to ensure consistency across all factories.




- Ensure various garment labelling, tags and trims are correct.
- Come up with solutions to any issues that may arise within production and communicate all issues and potential resolutions clearly to the Production Coordinator and team.
- Follow up on all samples, ensuring all deadlines are met.

Qualifications

- Studied Fashion Design, Textile Development, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in garment technology and tech pack development.
- Strong knowledge of textile properties, garment construction, and production processes.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong supplier relationships.
- Detail-oriented with a knack for problem-solving and optimising processes.
