Our client, a global Financial Services group is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the Treasury Hedge Accounting team within the broader Finance division.

The Opportunity

In this pivotal leadership position, you will oversee critical hedge accounting processes to minimize earnings volatility and ensure strict regulatory compliance.

You will act as a key adviser, collaborating closely with Group Treasury, Tax, and Risk Management teams to support the organization's financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end hedge accounting for foreign operation net investment exposures.
- Collaborate with global teams to design,



implement, and monitor hedging strategies.
- Approve critical hedge documentation, effectiveness testing, and accounting entries.
- Provide expert advisory support on highly complex corporate and legal entity structures.
- Drive continuous process improvement and automation initiatives across Treasury Finance.
- Mentor and develop team capability, actively supporting long-term career growth.

What You Offer

- 6+ years of professional experience, ideally gained within a Big Four firm.
- Background in audit, financial control, or complex financial reporting.
- Expertise in applying IFRS to complex commercial transactions and structures.
- Communication skills that translate complex accounting concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Agility to manage competing priorities and fast-paced transactions seamlessly.
